Every One Stop Shop upgrade begins with a Home Energy Assessment.

Through Churchfield Home Services, this assessment looks at how your home currently performs, where heat is being lost, and whether External Wall Insulation is suitable. It also confirms how the insulation should be combined with other upgrades to meet SEAI requirements.

This step ensures External Wall Insulation is recommended only when it makes sense for your home.

How Grants Work for External Wall Insulation

External Wall Insulation is supported by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) under the One Stop Shop Home Energy Upgrade pathway.

Grant support for External Wall Insulation can be up to €8,000, depending on your home type and upgrade plan. As a Registered SEAI One Stop Shop, Churchfield Home Services applies for and manages the grant on your behalf.

Once approved, the grant is deducted upfront from the cost of works. You pay the net amount, with no waiting for reimbursement.

Which Homes Are Most Suited?

External Wall Insulation through the One Stop Shop is most commonly recommended for:

• Older detached homes
• Semi-detached homes
• Properties with solid block or stone walls
